The business model of apprenticeships is one of the most tried and tested ways of training since the world of work began. The method of an apprentice joining a company and fully engrossing themselves in all areas of the business is one of the best ways to recruit and train.

It’s important to weigh up all the options available, find out as much information as you can, and sit down and go through the pros and cons of all opportunities.

Going to college or university are popular options for many people, but so is the opportunity to train and earn during an apprenticeship.

Over recent years, there has been a real shift in education and training options with many more now opting for the apprenticeship route.

From August to October 2022, the UK saw more than 22,000 apprentices enrolling in both Higher and Degree Level Apprenticeships.
